NTA has been involved in the design, implementation, and testing of the control actuation system (CAS) for the MMT science and technology program. The CAS is a 2.75-inch design with four independently-controlled canards. The canards are designed to fold up into the missile aero shell and then deploy out of the missile during the boost phase of flight. They are then commanded by the autopilot to accurately guide the missile to its target. NTA has also been involved in the design, implementation, and testing of the power supply system for MMT. The power supply design regulates and distributes power to all the missile subsystems.
