NTA is currently designing a new payload structure to interface between a standard GMLRS guidance and control section and a G+ motor. After defining the rocket motor mechanical ICD, a complete drawing package from top-level assembly drawings to individual part drawings and assembly procedures was produced. Our company is interfacing with thermal and structural analysis groups to ensure design feasibility and is currently fabricating a complex outer bearing support and payload bulkhead at our CNC facility.
