In July 2021, Huntsville City Police Department hosted a Back-to-School Supply Drive, which they proudly host every summer. They collected a variety of necessary school supplies, including backpacks, pencils, markers, crayons, paper, and notebooks. They also collected winter coats to prepare for later in the year. The school supplies the HCPD collected not only serve teachers and students during the Fall when the school year begins, but they are also reserved and strategically distributed to different schools throughout the rest of the school year, as needed.
NTA, Inc. partnered with Huntsville City Police Department to join in their efforts for raising school supplies this July. The company facilitated an internal, two-week donation drive and encouraged their employees to donate the school supplies. They received 59 backpacks and a tote full of crayons, pencils, glue, scissors, pencil pouches, and notebooks.
“We always know that our generous employees will participate in giving back to the community,” said Shannon Fields, President of NTA, Inc. “We are so proud of them for their support in raising so many school supplies for students and teachers all over Huntsville.”
NTA, Inc. donated all 59 backpacks and the tote of school supplies to the HCPD on Friday, July 30, 2021, just in time for the new school year.
