NTA participated in the Liz Hurley Ribbon Run. On October 14, 2021 a group of employees ran together that met at the Aldridge Creek Greenway in Huntsville, Alabama. Others chose to run the race individually on their own time and in locations of their choice.
As a company, NTA purchased a silver sponsorship for the event. All proceeds supported the breast cancer centers at the Huntsville and Madison Hospitals.
“We know so many people who have been affected by cancer in our own lives, so this cause is near and dear to our hearts,” said Shannon Fields, President of NTA, Inc. “We are thankful to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation for throwing the Liz Hurley Ribbon Run, and we are so proud of all of the employees who participated!”
According to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, “The 2021 event will provide two software upgrades for screening mammography machines. This upgraded technology means higher-resolution images, improved cancer detection and a likely decrease in the number of false positive examinations.”
